FitTracks

Your personal trainer to take away.

FitTracks is a fitness app with voice-guided workouts for both beginners & sporties.

The global Health & Wellness industry is $4.2 trillion worth, representing 5.3% of global economic output. Wellness care is evolving from episodic to essential, from rarely to daily, becoming a mindset that affects people’s daily decision-making.

We’re inspired by projects that turn fitness into a lifestyle and encourage changes in users’ long-term behavior. Just like FitTracks does.

Moreover, FitTracks’ online workouts have already been recognized as prevention courses by the German government. This gives users the right to ask their health insurance companies for up to 100% reimbursement of costs.

Challenge

While most of the fitness apps are focused on inside-the-gym activities or home workouts to get 6-pack abs, FitTracks has a goal of turning wellness into a lifestyle.

To provide a seamless experience for both beginners and sporties across multiple platforms, they needed the right In-House Tech Team. It was also crucial to make courses accessible online and offline as well as supplement them with photos, videos and voice guides from the qualified trainers.

The FitTracks team contacted Stormotion having a fully operational website so it was important to keep the same design code and consistency between Web and Mobile platforms.

Solution

Our core task was to deliver a user-centric product that would be consistent with the website and matching mobile behavior patterns as well.

Product

To get both iOS and Android platforms covered we used the React Native framework. It helps to deliver cross-platform products with no budget overspending and without making apps maintenance more complex and difficult.

To deliver the pixel-perfect fitness application we combined the best user-centric design practices and our experience with other projects from the same field (for example, Platoon Fit). Eventually, the app includes all the features agreed at the Scoping Stage.

Our Team was also responsible for the full release-related support. Now the FitTracks app is available for iOS and Android users in Germany.

Our clients trust us

"I highly recommend Stormotion as a service provider for app development. They're young, flexible, dynamic, creative and very fast. The cost of planning and implementation is also reasonable. As they use "pay as you go", have a good plan first — then the result also will be satisfactory".
