Challenge
The main challenge in the development of this application was the problem with content storage. We initially chose to use DigitalOcean Spaces, a storage service based in Frankfurt, Germany, which is great for European users. However, when it came to those users who were in other parts of the world, such as Australia or Asian countries, the ping was too high and caused problems with speed and loading.
This issue was discovered when Stormotion, based in Europe, began testing the functionality of the app, but the owner of the project, based in Australia, experienced much slower speeds. To overcome this, we had to find another solution that would be cost-effective and able to meet the requirements of the project.
Additionally, we needed to find a solution to efficiently process and review large volumes of video content, which required the integration of advanced AI tools to automate and streamline the process.

Our team experimented with a variety of storage solutions to improve the user experience with the platform, such as AWS S3. Both platforms (DigitalOcean Spaces and AWS S3) have a good CDN and high downloading speed, but when a user from Australia tries to upload to a bucket located in Frankfurt, DigitalOcean Spaces works slowly. This problem was solved by integrating AWS S3 Transfer Acceleration.
By using AWS S3, we were able to benefit from its Transfer Acceleration, which provides consistent performance regardless of the user's location. Additionally, we were able to keep all of our data in one bucket located in Frankfurt, thanks to the built-in capabilities of the AWS platform. This allowed us to provide a faster and more reliable user experience to the customers.
In addition, Art of Comms leverages cutting-edge AI technologies to automate content review and analysis. We automate the review process using AI-driven tools, making it faster and more precise without the need for deep Machine Learning expertise.
This approach enables Art of Comms to maintain high content standards while providing users with personalized, insightful feedback on their communication skills.
